Not quite gotten over yesterday's Holiday and this morning I did not want to go anywhere or do anything or think anything!... I started to read a few pages of "The Three Musketeers" and I wondered why in the movie they have swords and I thought a musket was a musket or closer to a rifle?!... And I wondered at the three shots of the musket the devil must of taken at me to feel defeated this fresh new morning brand new?!... And driving down the freeway I felt like an insect trying to escape a cereal bowl, advancing the sliding back to ground zero and excuse the pun!... But we are back and the busy devil in the house is terrible reminding me of all my 'to-do' list and my past failures and those who I like to believe have no regard for my but scorn!... With all the morning office people gathering in line to buy and get their coffee, I wonder if my office is different from theirs to get up, wash your face, comb your hair and get going to get something done today?!... And closing with a thought from scripture in Luke being speechless for his sluggishness to believe the angel of the Lord, Zacheriah, made motions of trying to tell what he had seen inside the sanctuary of the Temple, and we too speachless only make motion of unbelief as to what we see in the sanctuary of today's church, not knowing in what other way to explain it 1000 1 time!... Love Frank thbg
Takin' myself for one more ride in the country and why not, this is the USA?! And turnin' in the local community college and visit the library and the parkin' lot was full and it took me an hour just to find a parkin' space go inside get a parkin' pass and have to move the vehicle to more suitble location and it was an hour and I forgot what I wanted to write about?!...
And we told you about the agonizin' devil in my house to have me forget Matthew 6:24-34 and lets turn there and see what we want to forget!...
["... 24No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
25Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32(For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof..."]
And alway lookin' to be effective and busy but sometime we I overdo it and we really stumble on worryin' too much...too much!...
And this doesn't mean to take perpetual holiday were we test the Lord with slack hand and restin' and some more restin'...then we don't have lunch!...
["... 6Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:
7Which having no guide, overseer, or ruler,
8Provideth her meat in the summer, and gathereth her food in the harvest.
9How long wilt thou sleep, O sluggard? when wilt thou arise out of thy sleep?
10Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep:
11So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth, and thy want as an armed man..."]
Now which is which?! To worry or to not worry?! To take it easy or to not take it easy?!...
And the fact of the matte
