God is Speaking to us in Various Ways

There is no doubt in my mind and spirit, that God is about to unleash a new thing upon the earth.  I know that I am not alone in this Holy Spirit induced thought for many others world wide agree with me, or should I say we all agree with Gods word.  This is not surprising, nor should it catch us unawares for those who have ears to hear, and eyes to see.  This movement of the Holy Spirit has been for told by his servants the prophets/watchman who have been declaring this for some time.

I enjoy and appreciated Gods manifold imagery and pictures that he has been using to convey this message, as if he is providing simplistic channels, so that no one on earth can claim that they were not aware of the message.  God has spoken in the imagery of wind that is blowing across the nations and we, his people need to hoist our sails and capture this wind.  He has spoken using the picture of rain.  Ran falling on the earth in refreshing showers that will bring new and fresh growth among the nations.  He has spoken to us using pictures of doors opening in heaven and, we either enter in or, the storehouses of heaven are being poured onto the nations.

He has spoken to us in terms of open doors being opened before us so that we can walk through into a higher plane.  He has painted pictures using floods flowing down from the mountain of the Lord overflowing across the land.  I have seen pictures painted of the portals of glory being opened.  There are many more channels that our Father has been using to convey this message of reformation.

He has used words such as: realignment, re-positioning, re-structuring, a shake up, rearrangements, and such other words that convey a major move of the Holy Spirit.  Some have called this a greater revival than we have ever seen before.  While other prophets have used the term ‘reformation.’

This blog was born when the Holy Spirit said to me, ‘Do you wish to soar high like an eagle?’  ‘Of course,’ I answered.  Immediately I was made aware of the following verse from Isaiah 40

but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles;

For many of use, we need to ‘fly’ from the nest of our comfort and the known.  It is time says the Lord to lift your wings of faith and catch my breeze and soar into my plans for you.  This imagery spoke to me as I was confronted with my reluctance, at times, to let go and leap out of the boat, into the raging storm of uncertainty.  God’s winds are rising above the cliff faces of doubt, as he is encouraging us to put our hope in him, and rise with his Holy Spirit to greener pastures and walkways, made smooth.

Are we like the parable of the wise virgins, who will discern the signs of the coming of Gods out pouring?  Or the unwise who were caught unawares and missed a move of God?  May the Lord of all strength give us the grace, discernment and strength to be like the wise, which were able to read the signs and times of Gods plans.

So often we are so pre occupied with our own internal personal struggles that we are unable to hear the Holy Spirits voice.  Or we have become so immersed in the peripheral aspects of being a disciple, that our focus is not on Jesus, and him crucified.  Put away the endless and speculative chatter about ‘end times’ and the speculative arguments over Calvinism, Arminianism, glossolalia etc.

Focus on Christ crucified in worship, thought and deed and the voice of the Holy Spirit will stay in your ear.  In this way you see with wisdom the hand of God and his outpouring of his spirit and grace.

wmj,

How comfort or even misery of the known so often holds back for fear of the unknown is greater ... yet we have a Father promising to be ever present.

Blessings in Him,
Les
