I had a God given Dream

I had a dream the other night.  Nothing really out of the ordinary as most of us dream.  But this time it was mega special.  For the first time in my memory this was a dream from the Holy Spirit for I sensed the presence of God when I awoke.  Immediately he spoke to me with the meaning, which I believe was not only for me but for sharing with the body of Jesus.

But first the dream.  In my home there was a chemist shop that always fascinated me.  It would have been erected in the early 1900’s with an elaborate ceiling.  Inside the front door was an old fashioned weighing machine with a waist high dial.  Through the swing doors at the back of the shop were rows and rows of glass jars lining the shelves with exotic tantalising names particularly to a young boy.  In the dream I was called into the shop and to my horror and disgust the inside was being guttered.  I exclaimed, ‘Whatever for!’ The person who had called me in said. ‘We are creating something better in its place.’

As I awoke the Holy Spirit clearly said that many of the body of Christ are still fascinated and captured by the past clinging to past endeavours, glories and thought patterns.  I immediately recalled this verse which has recently been mentioned on this site.

See, the former things have taken place, and new things I declare; before they spring into being I announce them to you.”  Isaiah 42:9

In this year, the year of the times and seasons of the Lord doing new things, with mega re-alignments, re-positioning, reformations and transformations; many in the body of Christ are not availing themselves of this out poring of the Father.  God is doing a new thing among us and many believers are not aware of this supernatural happening.

As we read of the exodus we can easily heap scorn on the children of Israel for their un belief and un willingness to enter into the Land.  Yet many of us are guilty of the same attitude and mind set.  We have become locked into a system of worry, anxiety, fear, unbelief that has glued our feet to the ground.  We cannot move for we have dug ourselves into a rut, which the longer we stay put is becoming our grave for slowly we are dying.

As we look, long and cry for a miracle to shatter our chains we have forgotten that we have to take that first step of faith.  It is OK to expect miracles but not to demand miracles.  We cannot force Gods hand to provide a miracle when the solution is in our own hands.  We walk by faith, and this faith demands that we trust God to provide, as we step out into the raging sea of doubt.

It is time to let do of the past that says ‘It will not happen,’  It is no secret that I have been plagued with prostate issues that until I convinced my mind that Gods word was true and faithful concerning healing his healing methodology that peace and healing was fixed into  place for eternity.

Wake up says the Holy Spirit and take advantage of the Father’s blessings and provisions in this time of His out pouring of grace and love.  Do not say to yourself that the Father’s arm is too short to save me and that the giants are too big.  Go in says the Lord for I will be with you as you take down the walls of fear, anxiety, worry and doubt choosing to have died to your past.  My cross on which my Son gave his life and blood is my healing, stand on this fact having this unwavering faith confessing with your lips Isaiah 53:5.  My word says the Lord of Host is my medicine which you must take 7 times daily.

O how we long in vain for a miracle as we demand one from our Father.  Yes it can happen, but let us cooperate with Gods calling; for the walls of Jericho fell down, not in an instance, but after a period of time as the Israelites cooperated in obedience.

4 But now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ declares the LORD. ‘Be strong, Joshua son of Jozadak, the high priest. Be strong, all you people of the land,’ declares the LORD, ‘and work. For I am with you,’ declares the LORD Almighty.   Haggai 2:5

I believe there are times when God will not help us in an earth shattering manner, if we can first help ourselves by choosing to take steps of unswerving non doubting faith.

My prayer is that we will let go of our past fears and believe again that the Lords word is true unto salvation.  May all those on CB have renewed faith, fresh visions, a strengthened hope and a baptism of Gods love.
