Marching Forward Step by Step.

I am being reminded that we are soldiers of the Living God with Christ as our commander in Chief.  Sometimes we forget that we are part of a victorious army for we slouch around like Gideon unsure of our calling in Christ.  For we have been called in love to live a life of conquering soldiers afraid of no enemy.  We have been commanded to stand and having done all we are to still stand.  We are to stand tall, shoulders back, stomach in and our head held high.

As we stand tall in his word we will become aware of the powerful authority we have because we are in the army of Jesus.  For in the name of Jesus we have been given all authority.  ALL authority over the enemy for we can walk over scorpions and through the fires of the enemy.  We can say to the mountain – Be removed.

Therefore, let us step out in unison; left, right, left right with the other solders marching to the beat of the Holy Spirit.  Carry no extra equipment other than the tools of a soldier of Jesus Christ for all our needs will be supplied by the Commander in Chief.  Let us step over the threshold of the door that has been set before us that no one can close.

Throw off the burdens that the enemy has placed upon us, for we are stronger than him and break throughs belong to us.

It is nigh time that the army of the crucified Lord realized the authority we have in the name of Jesus and that our weapons are far superior to the enemies lies and deceptions.  Help us to remember that the enemy has no armour, whereas we have the full armour of God.

Lift up our shields, join then together to form a phalanx and let us march forward for nothing can stop the advancement of the army of God as His Kingdom will be established.

Reading your blog caused me to think of these words:

"No weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me," declares the Lord. Isaiah 54:17 (NIV)
