Roses around your Feet

This is a word to those who are stranded in the desert, who feel the blazing suffocating heat pressing down on them.  This is a word for those who are spiritually dehydrated and are dying for lack of water.  This is a word for those who have collapsed onto their hands and knees ready to lie down as the heat is too much and there is no water.  This is a word to those who are spiritually dying alone and afraid in the barren wilderness.

I hear the Holy Spirit say that I will provide you with running water; look up to the heavens, open your heart and call out my name. Jesus, Jesus, Jesus have mercy on me.  For I will satisfy those who are thirsty and dying says the Lord.  Keep your eyes heavenward for in so doing your eyes will be opened, as did Elisha's servant eyes open in 2 Kings 6.

Running water will be your salvation.  Running water will be your strength.  Running water will be your way back to my arms says the Lord of Hosts.  This is not a time to labour and struggle to draw water from a well; but to look upward and open your heart and I the Lord will pour running water into the depths of your soul.  I will make roses to bloom under your feet and the fragrance of these roses will ascend up to me and your joy will be filled.

The poor and needy search for water, but there is none; their tongues are parched with thirst. But I the LORD will answer them; I, the God of Israel, will not forsake them.

18 I will make rivers flow on barren heights, and springs within the valleys. I will turn the desert into pools of water, and the parched ground into springs  Isaiah 41

The desert and the parched land will be glad; the wilderness will rejoice and blossom. Like the crocus,

2 it will burst into bloom; it will rejoice greatly and shout for joy.  Isaiah 35

I watched this video elsewhere on Sunday. I am watching it once again. As I am watching it, my eyes are on a verse I have taped to my computer monitor: "The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring." Isaiah 38:11
