Stand Tall and do not be Intimidated

I Jesus Christ are with you no matter what you see, hear or understand, for these temporary afflictions and distractions do not change my word to you – ‘I will never leave you.’  Do not focus on the world’s events and the wrongs that come against you and the afflictions that piece your soul.  I the Lord Jesus Christ do not tease you for I am with you always and my word is true.  Believe my promises form my word for they will be strength and food to your heat and medicine to your body.  Do not focus on the distractions that are buzzing like bees around your head.

I say to you, says the Holy Spirit, ‘Do not dwell on the storms and wild waves as the disciples displayed when Jesus was asleep in the boat.’  My word says that even if the mountains crumble and fall into the sea my word remains for ever.  For as you live my Sons life in you, this must be walked out in faith, otherwise the power of my word and the life of Jesus born in you is null and void.

As Jesus said the man sick with palsy, ‘Take up your bed and walk;’ so to, you must look to me and choose to focus away from the little foxes that spoil the vines and confess my living word.  Write my words of blessing, comfort, strength, joy and love on the tablets of your heart.

As you read these prophetic words from the Holy Spirit, I declare that your eyes may be opened as the servant of Elisha’s eyes were opened, when there was famine in the besieged city of Samaria and death by starvation was a given.

And Elisha prayed, "Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.  2 Kings 6:17

May our eyes be opened to see the Angels of Opportunity around us who will lead us into new pathways and new opportunities.  For I the Lord say to you, ‘I will guide your footsteps for my word is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path.’  Psalm 119:105

We need to resist any attempted by fear and anxiety to gate crash our life which is hidden in Christ.  We must stand firm and say, ‘No!’ to the knocking of fear and anxiety.  Place yourself under the protection of the Lord of Hosts and his angel army.

Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.  James 4:7

For once we let these intruders into the temple of Jesus Christ, which is our body, these spirits will quickly take root and only surgery will remove their tentacles.

Have I not said to you before that this is the time of new alignments, opportunities and pathways?  Therefore allow me to direct your footsteps by throwing off the worry, fear and anxiety that tries to cling to you and with perseverance walk with me.

Your word, LORD, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.  Psalm 119:89

I pray that the depth, height, width and love of these words will be etched into your soul and that you will use these words to begin your time of praise and thanksgiving to the Lord.

Interestingly enough, I just published a blog on this same topic just before reading yours. Yesterday I had stumbled across an old blog of mine that dealt with faith and as I read it, I realized it was written shortly after I'd had a subarachnoid hemorrhage and stroke. I didn't know it at the time of writing but my situation was about to take a turn for the worse and the next seven years would really put the words I wrote to the test.

During and since that time, God graciously gave me a glimpse of why I had to experience those things. While it was not easy, I know now that it was intensive hands-on training to prepare both me and my husband for a "new assignment" God had for us. In hindsight I realize that our experiences has given us the wisdom and the empathy needed to be able to effectively minister to people in extreme crisis and it is also a testimony of God's love, mercy, grace and faithfulness.

We've got to remember this! When God allows us to endure a situation(s) for a season or even a lifetime, He has a purpose in doing so just like He has a purpose when He delivers us from it. The point is we must trust God whether we are healthy or sick, rich or poor, living the dream or facing disappointment, etc.

Great word and how thankful for Christ's presence and Spirit in our lives. Without Him we have no hope. May God continue surgery to remove anxiety, depression, and doubt in my life and all needing it ... for He is able in all things.

In Christ,
