The Retaking of the Land

I believe in my spirit that the church is on the brink of a massive crossing over.  As I have been praying the Holy Spirit has directed my thoughts to Joshua 3-4 which describes the Children of Israel crossing through the river Jordan.  As I have pondered and pressed into these chapters the Lord has been saying to me that this crossing recorded in the scriptures has a message for us.

I hear the Lord saying that just as Joshua was led by God to cross over into Promised Land to fulfil Gods promises, so to will this generation of Joshua’s transition into a new move of God.  I belong to the generation of Moses and will not be part of this mega move of God into the re taking of the nations.  I will no doubt be able to climb the mountain and see from afar the territory that will be re taken in the Lords name.

I see in my spirit a mega movement of Gods Spirit across the nations; is but a beginning of a great sweep of Gods wind of fires across the nations.  I believe that the body of Christ has been given the commission to subdue the nations and take possession to the ends of the earth.

Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.   Psalm 2:8

This nation conquering by the church is wrapped up in Gods plans for the end times is at the fore runner of this reformation plan.  This move will not be so much about the believer’s revival and the building of churches for worship and fellowship; but it will be about the retaking of the devils strongholds erected on the seven hills.  For just as Joshua and the Israelites tore down nations strongholds so to will this move of God will be.

Joshua was commanded by the Lord to take twelve stones and erect two memorials; one in the river Jordan itself, and the other cairn to be where they encamped for their first night in the Promised Land.

The number twelfth in scripture speaks often of government.  Therefore I believe this speaks of establishing the Kingdom of God upon the earth.  The twelfth stones speak to me of taking 12 blessings from the river of transition of those who are called; to be the foundation stones of this new out reach, with Christ being the chief corner stone.  These stones will be a memorial to all who come by and give praise to the Lord of Hosts, that the impossible has been achieved.

Be of good courage for the battles ahead will be fierce and wearying

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”   Joshua 1:9
