Create A Clean Heart Through Repentance and Forgiveness

Walking out Matthew 5 and 18; repentance and forgiveness. To leave your offering at the alter seeking forgiveness and going in private to address when one offends you. Allowing God to renew a right spirit within our heart, while Christ frees from bondage to idols and gods of this world.

II Cor. 10: 3 6 “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up against the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ, and we are ready to punish all disobedience, whenever your obedience is complete.” (NASB) This past week, the Lord posed a question to me. What is the objective of war? Why am to destroy all, rising up against knowing God and take captive thoughts against Christ? Eph. 6:12 makes clear our struggle is not earthly but heavenly. As God walked me through this passage, He reminded me of the following: I Pet. 4: 12 13 “Beloved,......

Col. 1: 16, 17 “ For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities - all things have been created through Him and for Him. He is before all things, and in Him all things hold together.” (NASB) Whether living in a heavenly victorious state or in the depths of despair, one thing the Lord constantly is reminding of, Christ holds the universe together. Everything created from heavenly hosts, to Satan himself and us as dwellers of the earth. The amazing point to ponder, the entirety of creation seen to unseen, even the enemy of our souls; the fabric is held together by our Lord Jesus. The comfort of this passage, no matter the state of my life Christ holds me. All creation speaks of......

Joshua 24: 14, 15 “Now, therefore, fear the LORD and serve Him in sincerity and truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. If it is disagreeable in your sight to serve the LORD, choose for yourselves today whom you will serve: whether the gods which your fathers served which were beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living; but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD” (NASB) Joshua calls the children of God to choose. Father Abraham's idol's before called from the Ur of the Chaldean's. Egyptian gods who they began to worship while in captivity or current gods of the Amorites. Each represents gods we wrestle with in our lives, by being born with a sin nature and raised......

The Lord released me to post one thing while still walking out Matthew 5 and 18. Danielle Fleming (@allforhisglory) posted to my blog today regrarding the journey. She and her local church body are facing similar circumstances. Christ commanded, not suggested as a good idea the actions of Matthew for the benefit of the Body. I knew the word of admonishment, disciplne, and reproof from last weekend, was to be shared believing mid-next week. After a blog on lessons learned, directed by God through His Holy Spirit. With His lift of the constraint, I believie it is on behalf of Danielle and the current situation they face. May this be used as Christ's desires to His will and good pleasure. I Cor. 6:19 “Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you,......

Psalm 51: 10 12 “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.” (NASB) The first point of acknowledgement, with offense damage is done. Asking and recieveing forgiveness does not change this fact. The one committing hurt accepts responsibility for words, actions, or inaction to allow God's love in Christ a new work. He desires restoration in Christ's strength, hearts willing the relationship can be stronger than before. This benefits both parties while Christ is glorified. Our Lord and Savior if afforded the opportunity, to demonstrate the capacity of destruction of all walls of......

Matt. 5: 23 25 “Therefore if you bring your gift to the altar, and there remember that your brother has something against you, leave your gift there before the altar, and go your way. First be reconciled to your brother, and then come and offer your gift. Agree with your adversary quickly, while you are on the way with him, lest your adversary deliver you to the judge, the judge hand you over to the officer, and you be thrown into prison. (NASB) Psalm 51: 17 - The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise. (NASB) In retrospect writing Walk The Talk two and half months ago, I believed it to be a point of rebuke and correction for lack of understanding and love within The Body of Christ. To 'enlighten' regarding......

Phil. 4: 5 8 “Let your gentle spirit be known to all men. The Lord is near. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things” (NASB) In Dry Wells, we contrasted how the gods or idols of past, present, and future still desire to exert, maintain, and retain control in our lives. (Joshua 24: 14, 15) Joshua called the Israelites to choose whom they would serve. gods of our......

Eph. 6: 13 18 “... that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit” (NASB) Confronting gods of slavery (anger and rejection) and culture (fear of dying penniless and abandoned) the Lord led me to this passage. First, the only offensive weapon is the sword of the Spirit. In looking at Christ's temptations in......
